Abstract
The nanophotonic structural color is currently a promising research field due to outstanding optical properties. Here, we demonstrate tuning colors with silicon nanowires by stacking on reflective color filters. The colors can be tuned depending on geometrical parameters (i.e. diameter, periodicity of silicon nanowires). Stacking these layer facilitates the linear combination of two different reflectance spectra, thereby enabling widening of the gamut in color technology.
