- Abstract
- This paper presents a convolutional neural network (CNN) for the adaptive localized backlight dimming. We develop a new loss function for training the CNN, which results in efficient dimming and high contrast images. We also try to minimize the complexity of CNN so that it can be practically used. © 2018 by Society for Information Display. All rights reserved.
