Abstract
Stimulated emission tomography (SET) is a promising alternative for coincidence count based quantum state tomography (QST). We demonstrate the measurement of degenerate OAM qubits by SET. We have measured the spiral bandwidth and the density matrix to show the potential of SET for measuring the OAM qubits. Both the spiral bandwidth and the density matrix were successfully measured while only 1s was required for each projective measurement. Our results can be applied to various quantum optical protocols to streamline the tomography process and further can be extended to high dimensional qudits.
