Abstract
This special issue features selected papers from 2025 The 40th ICROSAnnual Conference (ICROS2025), held at Jeonbuk National University, Jeonbuk,Korea, from June 25 to 27, 2025. All submissions were subject to an expedited review processconducted by a panel of distinguished reviewers. The manuscripts were evaluated with the same level of rigor applied to regular submissions to ensure the high quality of the published papers. As a result of this review process, the following eight papers were selected for publication in this special issue: 1. “Multi-Sensor-Based Long-Range Precision Landing on a High-Speed Mobile Drone Station” by Joohyuk Lee, Hyeonjeong Heo, Hojun Lee, and Kyuman Lee 2. “Adaptive Calibration of Parameters for Accurate Vehicle Localization” by Jiyoung Kim, Yeina Lee, Seongbeen Lee, Kyoungeun Kim, Seoyeon Bae, Sejung Jeong, Heesu Kang, Hyungchai Park, and Joo Yong Sim 3. “Nonuniform Data-Driven Control for Networked Control Systems with Safe Set” by Seungyong Han 4. “Efficient Learning-Based Path Planning on Receding Horizon with Conditional Flow Matching” by Yongjae Lim, Yeonsoo Park, Jeongtae Huh, Youngsoo Han, and H. Jin Kim 5. “Knowledge Distillation with Context-Aware Refinement for Self-Supervised Depth Estimation in Transparent Environments” by Jaemyeong Lee, Jimin Song, and Sang Jun Lee 6. “Bootstrapping Mean Teacher with Proposal-Based Positive Sampling for Domain Adaptive Object Detection” by Jongo Kim, Gyutae Hwang, and Sang Jun Lee 7. “Learning Solutions of PDEs with Symmetry and Kolmogorov-Arnold Neural Network” by Minhyuk Yoon, Inkyu Jang, and H. Jin Kim 8. “Data-Driven Framework for Capturability Prediction Based onRelativeVelocity Space” by Gyuyeon Choi, Seongwook Heu, and Hyeong-Geun Kim The editorial board of the International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems (IJCAS) will continue its efforts to identify outstanding papers presented at future editions of the ICROS Annual Conference for potential publication in the journal.
