Abstract
This presentation introduces the hierarchical self-assembly structures of disease-causing proteins and showcases the GIST- InnoCORE research program through peptide self-assembly applications. The AI-ACE team converges artificial intelligence with advanced biotechnology and nanophotonics, pursuing three transformative goals: real-time, high-sensitivity analysis of protein structural changes in neurodegenerative diseases; revolutionary early diagnostic accuracy for degenerative brain disorders; and cultivation of globally distinguished InnoCORE Fellows in AI+S&T convergence research. Our breakthrough "nanoinformatics" platform elegantly integrates artificial peptide polymeric assemblies, cutting-edge nanophotonic devices, and sophisticated AI algorithms to create a universal diagnostic and drug discovery system. By tracking protein conformational transitions from monomers to pathological aggregates, this approach enables non-invasive liquid biopsy diagnostics with profound industrial impact through strategic partnerships and technology transfer. Ultimately, this platform addresses critical societal challenges in our rapidly aging society, offering transformative solutions for healthcare cost reduction.
