- Abstract
- A fluorescent colloidal dispersion of sol was synthesized by cross-linking copolymerization of tetrakis(4-aminophenyl)methane (TAPM), tetrakis(4-aminophenyl)porphyrin (TAPP), and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). polyurea network sol (PUNS)’s polymerization time (tp) was controlled with the TAPP loading ratio. Polyurea network film (PUNF) was made by immersing the amino functionalized quartz substrate into the diluted PUNS. Immersion time (ti) was optimized to obtain uniform thickness film. We demonstrated that the TAPP can be used as efficient cross-linkers to generate a network structure of the polyurea network (PUN). The TAPP’s spatial arrangement and aggregation state were adjusted with the TAPP loading ratio. At lower TAPP ratio (PUNF1 and PUNF5), aggregation caused quenching (ACQ) is prevented which is confirmed by the ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL), and photoluminescence lifetime decay (PL lifetime decay).
