Abstract
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of the neurodegenerative disease characterized by cognitive deficits, disorders of daily activities, and behavioral disturbance. In this study, we applied pulsed transcranial ultrasound stimulation at 40 Hz, similar to gamma-band oscillations, to remove amyloid-beta plaques and modulate brain rhythm in a 5xFAD mouse model.
