- Abstract
- Characterization and OECT fabrication of the donor-acceptor conjugated polymers, PgBT(F)2gTT and PgBT(F)2gT having potential for OECT operation with superior ambient stability without destructive side reactions, are included in this research. Especially OECT made with PgBT(F)2gTT shows comparable performance with transconductance (gm = 1.89 mS) and figure of merit (μC* = 99.70 Fcm-1V-1s1), and the same polymer OECT shows stable channel potential maintenance under ambient air condition even without Ag/AgCl gate electrode. Utilizing the above properties of the PgBT(F)2gTT, further development of new diode named as organic electrochemical diode (OECD) has been conducted. This electrochemical diode has been successfully developed with shifted pattern of the active channel and it shows perfect diode characteristics with increasing degree of asymmetry. Lastly, have confirmed that simple application of bridge rectifier circuit is also possible with these OECDs, and such a development of the electrochemically driven circuit element would be a step for future bio-friendly integrated circuit operating under electrolyte interface.
