- Abstract
- Fluorinated imidazo[1,5-a]pyridine(ImPy)-derived N-heterocyclic carbene (F-aImPy) ligands have been synthesized. These F-aImPy ligands are stronger σ-donors than typical NHC ligands and can be analogously equipped with functional group moiety to typical NHC ligands. To ㅁts for pyridine-directed carboxylation of alkenyl C-H bond using CO2 which have low conversion (47 %) and selectivity (70 %) of the desired carboxylated product under in situ condition with rhodium precursor and phosphine ligand according to the Iwasawa group.
