Abstract
This thesis describes the study on self-healing polymers based on reversible disulfide links. Polyurethane with disulfide bonds copolymer was improved, which affected self-healing property. In particular, polyurethane with 35 wt% hard segments exhibited excellent self-healing ability at above 60 ℃. Polyurethane random copolymer was synthesized by controlling the different molecular weight of the polycarbonate diol. It shows robust mechanical properties, outstanding shape memory ability with a recovery efficiency of 92 %, and excellent self-healing ability with 98 % healing efficiency. In addition, self-healing polyurethanes with thiol functionalized graphene oxide were prepared and observed for their healing ability by photothermal effects.
