Enhanced Restoration of Blurred Image Using Genetic Algorith

- Abstract
- There are several existing schemes for restore blurred image and many of these are using in various area in our society. However previous restoration methods have some problems. Restoration based PSF(Point Spread Function) need to calculate PSF from the blurred image but it needs a lot of computing power and cannot make a perfect PSF. For restoration based Genetic algorithm before, it is also not a perfect scheme because it needs a long time to get a result and result of this scheme has a lot of noise. We designed a new restoration scheme based pure Genetic algorithm and it shows over 40% of performance improvement from a previous scheme based on GA. Additionally, we adopted the post process for remove noises in the output image and it helps remove most of the noises from the output image. The result of the experiment has detail data sets and showing our scheme is faster and better than previous schemes.
