4 GHz passive harmonic mode-locking in a single-clad soliton fiber laser incorporating carbon nano-tube saturable absorbers

Abstract
We demonstrate an efficient increase of repetition rate in passive harmonic mode-locking of fiber lasers by engineering the cavity dispersion. Stable pulses with ∼4 GHz repetition rate is obtained with a pump power of 358 mW. © 2012 IEEE.
