Noncontact Photoacoustic Imaging System Using Characteristics of Fiber-Optic Coupler
Abstract
A noncontact photoacoustic imaging method based on optical quadrature detection is proposed. By utilizing the intrinsic phase difference among the ports of a multiport optical interferometer, the quadrature signal of a conventional interferometric signal could be obtained. It allows the noncontact detection with a consistent sensitivity.
