- Abstract
- Introduction. The laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique can be used for classifying metal scraps for recycling [1]. Local ablation of the sample by the short laser pulse creates luminous plasmas and the emission spectra can be used to distinguish different metal types.
