Abstract
Just add sugar: An unnatural flavonoid-deoxyaminosugar conjugate was biologically synthesized in Escherichia coli by engineering an E. coli nucleotide-sugar pathway and expressing a glycosyltrandfease specific for UDP-arabinose derivatives.
