Abstract
It is shown that there is correlation between cathodoluminescence and gas sensing properties of the SnO2-based devices, in particular, between intensity of CL and magnitude of sensor response. It is concluded that the analysis of both CL spectra and CL intensity can give additional information about the structural parameters of doped metal oxides. © 2011 Ceramic Society of Japan.
